Although Mason Point will no longer exist as a physical location of a Masonic building, the care of our elderly members and their widows remains of the utmost importance to the Grand Lodge Officers and staff. Our position is this, we can supply aide to Illinois Masons by utilizing endowment funds without spending these funds on aging facilities and programs.  Such spending is not cost effective and quickly results in the depletion of the critical resources that have been so generously donated over the years.  By implementing this program, a greater number of members in need will be eligible for services.  In short, aging Illinois Masons everywhere will benefit by this new and proven method of caring for them.
